At the start, I was thinking that the boyfriend was being good by acknowledging how toxic he is to the dependent MC, especially during the "we were working on them!" where he deletes his messages where it looked like he did love MC, but then gave a complete 180 when MC agrees to break up with him.

I wonder if the boyfriend was just trying to scare MC into making her think it's her fault and then bending further to the boyfriend's will, or if he really loves his partner at all. Honestly I'm not sure at this boyfriend but I am sure that MC did the right thing in being happy and not being dragged down this relationship. Amazing job!

i really love the way you've portrayed the gaslighting in this story with him deleting the messages and constantly changing his words. this was an awesome entry!

Great game, I absolutely love mindfucks like this.

SPOILERS

After playing at first I was like damn, Mc really imagined the boyfriend breaking  up with him, but then after reading the first review comment, I had to say damn again!  I didn't even think about the possibility that he was actually gaslighting Mc. Makes so much more sense why the boyfriend kept deleting the messages too!  It was quite an amazing game author, absolutely love when these topics are explored.

Hey! I played your game and it was an interesting entry! First, seeing Ren'Py speech bubbles being used (I suppose that's what you did) was honestly cool, and you used them so creatively!! I also enjoyed the intertwining with narration!

Story wise, GOODNESS IS MC'S BOYFRIEND CONTRADICTORY. (SPOILERS FOR THOSE READING THIS REVIEW)
I was at first surprised to see him be like "WHAT??" when MC agrees to break up, because, well, the boyfriend wanted the same thing?? But that's when you challenged my expecations: I thought the story was about the MC's boyfriend realising he's toxic to him and leaving him instead of hurting him. In the end, I realised he just wanted attention and was somehow gaslighting the MC so 'rfgvtfegv get lost, I hate him!!!

Very neat O2A2 entry, which I enjoyed! Congrats!
